Products Description
The mechanical-set liner hangers are inexpensive, light- to medium-duty hang-ers.They are available in right- and left -hand set models, depending on the type of setting tool to be used. Multi-cone design maximizes bypass area for run-in and cementing.
The hydraulic-set liner hanger is set hydraulically by applied pressure through the run-in string and designed to support medium to heavy liner loads. The hanger is widely used in deep and high deviated wells, where actuation of mechanical-set hangers may not be preferred. A setting ball is dropped and/or circulated to a ball seat in the landing collar or running string. Different pressure acts on the set position.
